Ali Azlan

I'm a 4th year MBBS student at Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, and the founder of EvidLabs Pvt. Ltd., where we build AI-powered tools for evidence synthesis. I've been with RSAP since 2023: first as Director PR & Communications, and now as Secretary & Treasurer (2026–2027). I also built rsap.pk website pro bono.

My company's main products are Revidum, a systematic review management platform, and MetaScout, a fully automated research gap finder for meta-analysis (the first tool of its kind). On the open-source side, I developed CiteChain, an automated citation searching tool and biblib, a Rust crate for citation deduplication. I am also putting together what will become the first interactive course on meta-analysis in R.

Outside of RSAP, I've served as Secretary General of AIMSCon 2025, Communication & Outreach Chair for the Iqbalian Scientific Conference 2024, and Secretary of the AIMC/JHL Research Society. My research is on AI applications in systematic reviews. I received a Certificate of Merit at the International Biology Olympiad 2022.
